I was delighted to be invited to speak at Guardian Soulmates 10th anniversary party – not least because I was one of the first users all those years ago – SlinkyMinky – pleased to meet you. I met my bf on there about 5 years later after much trial, error and laughs. So, on Wednesday I delivered a ‘dating photos’ master class which went down really well. It felt amazing to be introduced as the only dedicated dating photographer in the UK. I also ran a giveaway competition – for the first time ever – and am pleased to announce that the winner of a free Revamp photo shoot session is Kath Roberts. I’m looking forward to working with her and sharing some of her photos, if she allows.
While preparing for this talk, I realised that my underlying belief for the business, that I started over a year ago now, is:
“I believe that everyone can find love online
It will probably require tenacity, resilience and a huge dose of self-love but with that under your belt the world is your oyster. So with that in mind, I hope you online daters go out there and enjoy the journey. Remember to keep your standards high though.
